Taking the crazy bus

Weird and crazy outing yesterday with the Reilly women. We went to NYC to see Little Women on Broadway. I had no idea what the show would be like, just knew that I like Sutton Foster, who played Jo. I read the book when I was in third grade. It was the first "big" book that I had read.

On the way to the theater we stopped in Theater Circle, because Erin loves the store and we had lots of time to kill. We were looking at all the theater stuff and decided we should have our own musical on Broadway about our family. When we left the store, we were making up our songs and choreography all the way to the theater. (Not unusual behavior for us and being in New York, don't think anyone noticed us weirdos anyway.)

Sutton Foster was the best thing about the show. She is an absolute riot. Some of the songs were nice, but with most of them I was giggling. I thought a few sounded a bit like they were borrowed from other shows. The show we saw last weekend, Avenue Q, was SOOOOOOOOO much better. Sesame street meets South Park.

Well after the show, we went back to get a bus back home. And this bus was the freakiest thing ever. There were flashing blue lights that had a strobe effect. And there was a Mana concert playing on the tv screen. There was also a man that looked a bit too much like the No. 1 person on the most wanted list.

Let's just say we couldn't wait to get off the bus and we were happy we made it back.
