Girlfriends
I am so beat! I just got back from New York City where I got to hang out with my good friends Amy, Amanda and Tara. Amanda, her husband Chris and daughter Haley came down last night and stayed here, and Haley was very happy to meet Penny.
We took the ferry over to the city and met up with Tara, Amy and her friends at City Bakery for breakfast - and the bests hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows. We stopped at a scrapbook store, of course. (Didn't even know there was one in the city LOL!) And then we headed over to the Highline Park. It was formerly an elevated train track along the westside and now it's a nice little walkway. We then went to Magnolia for cupcakes - lots of sugar today - and walked around the village and Washington Square Park. We stopped at a pub for some lunch and I think we were pretty much all exhausted from all the walking around. Then we took the ferry back and Haley wanted to come in to say goodbye to the puppy.
I would share some photos but I have no energy to walk across the room to get my camera! I just love these gals and am so glad I got to see them again!!!
Speaking of girlfriends... I got to work on this project with some of my very best friends. This big collab is called Girlfriends and it's available at Scrapdish or Funky Playground. It's on sale now too! :) And you can buy the pieces separately. I did two of the templates - it's been awhile since I've designed anything.
And here's a page I did with the kit!
