Back to scrapping

So yesterday, I finally made it to a crop!!! I had so much fun hanging out with my friend M even though I didn't get much done! But I did finish four pages - which is pretty great considering how little I've been getting done lately.

So here are some recent pages....

Using my random number list system, I've gotten some pages scrapped from this past Christmas - I usually fall so behind on holidays! I just scrapped two years of Christmases to catch up for the last gift album I made. I love Traci Reed's 365 Unscripted templates from Sweet Shoppe. So many ways to use them to scrap lots of pics and get pages done. I don't need these pages to be fancy - but I just want them in the books! The third features the Lego postcard I made featuring Penny and myself!

This is another page that's been on my list for ages. My friends and I had fun doing senior portrait-type poses on a visit to NYC. Haley was so little then!

I finally got caught up on Kylie's soccer pictures - and then I just went to another game! :) She's really getting so good. She plays on two teams these days and is the only girl on her travel team.

These are some pics from Maddie's first day!

Hard to believe she's getting so big! Here she is playing at the park.

Maddie was ready for her first Super Bowl!

My Lego K'nex Yellow Submarine. This was such a disaster putting it together, but I still had to scrap it!

St. Patrick's Day at my local pub. My mom even made her annual appearance.

I finally started a page on Art of Brick exhibit I saw last year - and once I had the photos picked I decided I didn't want to add anything else too it. I really like how it looks!

And this is a page about one of my other obsessions lately - theater! I have been going to see lots of plays and have also taken my nieces along. I hope they'll love musicals and plays too!

New Videos: More blind bags, toys and Penny!

I'm trying to post a new video each week over on my YouTube channel! I am still so surprised that anyone is watching them. This latest batch features some of my toy collecting addictions and, of course, Penny!

I hate how blogger previews videos! Just sayin!  Here's Penny trying out a new toy - a discovery wheel in which she had to find hidden treats.

These are more  blind bag openings. I really want to get all of the Lego Movie minfigs. I might just order the ones I am missing online!

And here's a review of some of my new Littlest Pet Shop pets. I've been collecting these guys "for my nieces" forever and the new line is really so cute!

I've also done some fun videos with Mommy & Gracie, including a look at some of my favorite Funkos and a really crazy Chubby Bunny challenge.

I hope you'll check out our videos. I know this is a long list! Please like, comment and subscribe, too!

Muppets Most Wanted!

I love the Muppets so much so I was super excited to go see Muppets Most Wanted! We went the Saturday after it's release.

I had to get dressed up in some of my Muppets gear for the occasion!
I was going to bring Kermit with me to the movie and took lots of pics of him throughout the day.

Driving over to Randi's house.

Stopped at Starbucks since we got to the theater pretty early. We went to the first show around 10 a.m.

Kermie wanted to pose with his pals!

Kermie & me before the show.

Maddie was so good at the theater. We've brought her a few times to kid movies. Usually early shows. She's always pretty happy or falls asleep. She's a lot quieter than most of the kids at the show, too!

Time for the movie!!! Yay!!!!!

Back at my sister's house, we watched Frozen - well some of it. But the guys wanted to watch March Madness.

So we went to Target! It was a pretty awesome, muppet-y day!

And as for the movie... I really loved it! I know it's not getting the best reviews. I don't think it was as good as The Muppets or any of the classic movies. But I thought it was a lot of fun. There were awesome cameos and great songs. I have been listening to the soundtrack since I saw the movie. I also really loved Tina Fey and Ty Burrell.

Some of my favorite scenes were in the Siberian prison, where Kermit is sent because he's framed as the evil Constantine. I cracked up every time I saw Danny Trejo in the background. And there's also a great Chorus Line spoof. I'm not sure kids will get that or the whole Cold War-kind of feel to the prison, but thought it was hilarious.

I do think the Celine Dion cameo was so unnecessary. Yuck. I don't know why they even needed her in that song! I also thought it was disturbing to see a Muppet who looked so much like Kermit doing bad things! He'd never do that!

I also liked that the movie with songs by Bret McKenzie and a role for Jermaine Clement was a kind of cool Flight of the Conchords reunion!

My 10-year-old friend Gracie said she was bored by the movie, but my nieces are really excited to see. I'm interested to see their reaction. I definitely think this movie was geared more toward those of us who grew up with the Muppet Show and Muppet Movie!

Let me know if you saw Muppets Most Wanted! I'd love to hear your review!

Penny faces the dark side!

I am really having fun making videos! And I am even more impressed that people are watching them!

Here's a new Penny video. She was being crazy fighting her Darth Vader toy!

I am obsessed with blind bags. I think this started back at Comic Con when I got the Doctor Who Titan figures. I love blind bags so much, I even like opening other people's blind bags! I hung out with my friends Mommy & Gracie recently and helped them do just that! I have been opening lots of Littlest Pet Shop, Lego Movie mini figs and some others.

And I feel like I waited forever for Frozen to come out on DVD! I was so excited I made a video about that, too.
