Black Friday shopping with my friends!

I decided to do a little Black Friday shopping when I got home from work last night. I picked up a few digi kits and templates and then I got myself some DVDs super cheap on Amazon. I did manage to buy two gifts - a jewelery box for my mom and a cute little dragon for my goddaughter.

If you're still looking for some good digiscrapping deals, be sure to check out my friend Kim Jensen's store and pick up here new Burst My Bubble alphas! Here's a page I did with them for last week's Studio Start to scraplift LovelyMissKait.

My dear friend Melinda Staley is retiring from designing and is having a big sale at Scrapdish.

Then there's this cute kit by my pal Tara Sroka and Mikkel Paige, available at the Digi Chick. I love those elephants!

And Tania Shaw is also having a sale at Funky Playground Designs where you can find these super cute puffy alphas! She has a few different sets and a freebie on her blog, too!

Feeling thankful

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am relaxing a bit before I head in to the kitchen to do some cleaning and maybe bake some peanut butter cookies. I made a cheesecake to take to work tomorrow. I love Thanksgiving at work - we all bring in food and have a good time. And that's after dinner with my family.

So I was just thinking of what I'm Thankful for this year. Here are just a few things.
- My family, especially my mom, who does so much for me, and my sister, even if she made fun of me for going to see New Moon
- Penny
- My pals - and especially my awesome digi friends. I am so glad I got to see so many of them this year!
- My iphone, ipod, camera, laptop - always keeping me entertained!
- Facebook, for giving me something to do when I'm bored and for keeping me connected to so many friends
- Having a job. Even though it's a pain, I'm lucky to still be employed this year.

One last day

Why does vacation time always go so quickly? I've been off from work the last three days and I can't believe they are over. Not that I've been doing much. I've been taking it easy after being so sick last week. I did go see Couples Therapy with Randi yesterday and did a little shopping at Target today. I mostly cleared out all the shows backed up on Tivo.

On Saturday, I went to a crop with the girls and here's what I got done.

The girls baking with some of my brother's co-workers. I didn't get to stay and taste the cookies they made. Boo! This was for a Ruby Rynne play day - another one of the new designers at SBG. Credits

I caught up on my 365 scrapping for September and August.

Here's one I did using some goodies from Pixel Works featuring the pups looking sweet. Credits

Some more pages...

I just found out my Girls Rules page was featured on the Log Your Memory blog! I have been hearing a lot about that site and need to check it out some more.

Here are some more recent pages, including one I just finished up.

The SBG designers worked on this month's Songbird Avenue Kit - Toys in the Attic.

Here's one I did of Penny in her Halloween costume (doesn't she look thrilled!) for the Rosey Posey play day. Credits

And I used PixelWorks Cozy Dreams to scrap about being sick this week. Credits

Digital Scrapbook Day

I've been hanging out home sick the last few days. Things have been so crazy at work with the elections and world series - I didn't call out sick until yesterday, but I probably should have been here all week. The doc says it's a touch of the flu. :( I spent yesterday relaxing with Penny and plan to do the same thing today. I really hope I'm better tomorrow because I'm out of sick days. It's been a rough year!

But I'm sick of sick talk. There's a big holiday coming up for us digiscrappers on Saturday - Digital Scrapbooking Day!
Scrapbook Graphics has a whole day of chats, challenges and sales planned. You can find out all the details here. You can also grab an ad booklet.

And Michelle Godin, aka PixelWorks, is having a great sale and an awesome grabbag at Scrap Artist.

I'll be celebrating by scrapping with my friends at our montly crop so have some fun shopping and chatting for me!
